We now offer basic grooming services that include nail trimming, Dremel nail trimming, hair trimming on the face and feet, ear cleaning and other minor care. Please note that we do not yet offer full grooming (including baths).

What can be done to prevent “hot spots?”
This condition develops when there’s too much moisture in the animal’s coat after bathing or grooming. The animal’s skin no longer breathes properly, which causes a skin infection that may require medical treatment. That’s why it’s important to ensure that the hair is completely dry, especially if it’s very long or very thick. You might also consider shaving and using a waterproof collar.
Do short-haired pets need to be brushed regularly?
Short-haired pets also benefit from regular brushing. It promotes healthy skin and reduces the amount of hair you have to clean up!
What should I do if my pet gets sprayed by a skunk?
First, you should know that skunk secretions are toxic if ingested by your pet, so you’ll have to rinse the entire soiled coat, mouth and eyes with water if needed. You’ll need to follow that with a DIY or commercial shampoo to control the smell, which it could take many baths to get rid of. Here’s a simple DIY shampoo recipe:
